Gdańsk, Poland: report by Pawel Gutral, Danuta Stopieńska, and Zofia Gruszecka

We gathered in Gdańsk to celebrate with many people all over the world. 14 people took part in our ceremony. Danuta spoke about the history and goal of the SOPP. We offered a wordless prayer using deep, spiritual breathing, held a silent meditation, said a prayer from Saint Francis of Assisi, and made affirmations of gratitude. Then, we held a small flag ceremony to pray for peace in each country.

This year a group of friends met in Jelenia Góra to hold peace prayers and a meditation for peace in connection with the SOPP at Fuji Sanctuary. We spent a few hours together, practicing meditation for peace, and reading quotes from the newly published Polish edition of Evolving with Universe by Masami Saionji. Participants contributed to a written peace mandala, and we prayed for peace in each country in the world. Our meeting was full of joy and happiness.
