Manila, Philippines

In Quezon City, Metro Manila, about 20 people from different faiths took part in the SOPP. After an opening silence and prayers to the four directions, various participants led peace prayers from their respective faiths. They prayed two general prayers for peace and held a flag ceremony to pray for peace in each nation and region. The ceremony closed with tai chi meditation, a reading of the Fuji Declaration, and a talk on the significance of the SOPP.
