The 14th annual Symphony of Peace Prayers was celebrated at Fuji Sanctuary on May 20, 2018. In 2018, the SOPP continued its mission to reignite the divine spark within all human beings, for the dawning of a world where peace and human dignity are cherished above all else—where every way of life is accepted and celebrated, where all people are treated with kindness and love, and where everyone is free to live the life they wish for. This mission has been strengthened by the Fuji Declaration, which was inaugurated at the SOPP in 2015, and which continues to gain the support of a wide range of visionary leaders across many different spheres of activity.

Now more than ever, the world needs all those who yearn for peace to raise their voices and offer their prayers to break down the imagined barriers that keep us apart. The SOPP celebrates the oneness of the human family within its beautiful diversity, creating a space and time for people around the world to join hands and hearts and share in prayers for peace on our planet Earth.

In the spirit of the SOPP’s quest to revive humanity’s divine consciousness, Mr. Tomohiko Naya, President of host organization Byakko Shinko Kai, recently composed the following poem:

The time is drawing near
The time when all will see
When everyone one will wake to
Our divinity
Our self that is sacred
And now we awaken
for the time has come
Our true spirit shines
O sacred mind
O sacred mind
All doubt will fade away
And light will shine
Divine spark
Divine spark
Reborn here on earth
The time has come

In addition to the SOPP at Fuji Sanctuary, local prayer ceremonies and gatherings took place in all parts of the world, as the growing SOPP global network came together to celebrate peace, harmony, and love. We will be posting more from these worldwide gatherings on the site in the coming weeks and months.

May Peace Prevail on Earth!
