As the final minutes of the twentieth SOPP approached, Rika Saionji thanked the longtime SOPP supporters around the world who appeared in the photos and video clips. Then, she introduced one last guest, Ms. Amiria ‘Sun Dance’ Raumati, a Maori ceremonialist and healer from New Zealand. Ms. Raumati offered a prayer and message, both spoken and sung:
Woven within, woven without,
Woven the human thread,
Woven is the language of life.
I come from the sacred peak of Taranaki Mountain, my Ancestral Mountain. I flow down from the River Waiwhakaiho, my Ancestral River. Ngati Te Whiti is my Sub Tribe. Waitaha is the lineage which I come from. Waka UruAo is the Ocean Voyaging Canoe that carried my people across the Pacific Ocean from Rapanui and beyond. I live at the Prow of the Celestial Canoe of the Gods. The Celestial Canoe of the Gods (the ancient name of the South Island of Aotearoa – New Zealand), if you look at the shape of the south island on a map, it is shaped like a Waka. The northern point is the Ihu (prow), the southern point the hull Kei (Stern).
My name is Amiria Sun Dance Raumati. I am a Ceremonialist and Devoted Healer of Papatuanuku, Earth Mother. I am honored to join you today in these prayers of universal healing. I am wanting to share a beautiful Waiata composed by one of our greats, named Rangimarie Turuki Rose Pere. It’s called Aio. Aio translates to ‘peace.’ This particular Waiata song speaks to peace, love, joy, and truth. And as we lift the song, we are wanting to penetrate our surroundings and our environment. We are wanting to lift the vibration, the frequency of the earth, of the water, and all the collective consciousness of humanity.
Peace to the universe,
love to the universe,
joy to the universe,
truth to the universe.
May we unify our voices, our hearts, and our spirits during this profound time on Earth.
From all eight directions, may the consciousness and unifying energy of all indigenous people uplift these prayers of prophecy.
My love for you is great!
The ceremony concluded with a final message from Byakko Chairperson Masami Saionji.
Masami Saionji
Thank you so much for participating in the whole program today. I also have been watching the program, and looking back on my personal life history while working on this program. I felt how far we’ve come, and that it’s time to pass this work on to the younger generations. But it was really beautiful to see all this history come to life.
I am full of joy and gratitude seeing the progress, and what we have become. I want to express my full gratitude to everyone, from the beginning to the end of the program. It was full of truth, full of love, full of joy, and full of hope for the future, because of each and every one of you.
I’ve come this far with and thanks to my adoptive father, Masahisa Goi. Goi Sensei passed away in his sixties, and I am now 82, soon to be 83. I am so thankful for your love and prayers and the work we have done together, connecting with each other for peace and the realization of the divine spark. This is what matters most.
Thank you, once again, to the prayer colleagues and supporters who have made this possible, to our staff members, and all the staff members who have passed away and are working from heaven. I look forward to joining them, but I don’t know when my life will end and I will pass on. For as long as I have this life, though, I hope to continue working to end war, to end sacrifice, to end discrimination, and to create true peace.
Thank you for building this momentum and this movement together. I believe that it will start from here, from Japan, and spread throughout the world, and that we will create peace together. So let’s keep praying for peace. Thank you very much.
