Lahore, Pakistan

Some 60 participants joined in the SOPP ceremony at the newly established Peace Center in Lahore. Fr. James Channan offered opening remarks, stressing the importance of each individual in creating peace and harmony. A group of students presented songs and dances, and two more presenters offered poems and musical performances. This was followed by readings from the Holy Bible, the Holy Quran, and the Holy book of Hindus. The ceremony concluded with prayers for peace in each country, and a shared meal.
