La Paz, Bolivia: report by Alexis Gamboa

We held a peace prayer gathering outdoors in downtown La Paz, with a group of young people. We used national flag cards to offer prayers for peace in each nation, placing all the flags around a small peace pole at the center of our circle. I believe we had an incredible connection due to several factors: the weather, the atmosphere of the place, and the attitude of the participants. It was very beautiful. Halfway through the ceremony I felt a unique feeling of peace, which increased as I inhaled with thoughts of love to the world.
