Kiryat Ono, Israel: report by Hagit Ra’anan

Sunday, May 17th started for me in Israel at 2:30 am, joining with participants at Fuji Sanctuary via the live broadcast. Nothing could have prepared me for the magnificent impact it left on me. Over the years, I have been privileged to experience some large-scale events at Fuji Sanctuary, even being present at past SOPP ceremonies. Even so, I was amazed by the power of this event.

Israel and its neighbors, as you probably know, have long struggled to find peace. As much as I try to isolate myself from the ongoing events by turning off the radio and TV, this does not always work for me. I needed the Fuji Declaration, and I needed the massive power of this sacred gathering where the declaration was launched. Sitting on my chair at home, listening to all those words of clear hope and wisdom, as if I were sitting beside the people in the Prayer Field, felt so good for me. I was encouraged and reminded of the bigger picture of what we all truly are!

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this opportunity. Thank you for allowing me to reconnect to this ultimate truth—that we are all ONE! If only our vision of the infinite possibilities could be projected in everyone’s heart! I do believe!
