Stupino, Russia: report by Zoya Shimanskaya

Four adults and two children took part in our gathering in Stupino, to the south of Moscow. Our gathering was held outdoors, and the weather was very warm and pleasant. Birds were singing, bees were buzzing, collecting nectar from the fragrant flowers, and plants were growing and gathering strength.

To begin, we held a meditation. The children also sat with us quietly. Then, we prayed for peace in each country, laying the flags on the grass. It was a moving and inspiring ceremony. The children said they were disappointed that there were so few countries in the world! At the end, as we took our photo, the wind picked up our flags and mixed them together. We thought it was a good sign—the universe had heard our prayers for peace!
