3 events: Los Polvorines, Neuquén, Tigre

Los Polvorines, Argentina
report by Matilde Pruzzo

Six people gathered to celebrate the Symphony of Peace Prayers in Los Polvorines, ouside Buenos Aires. We prayed prayers from different religions, then held a beautiful meditation, visualizing a bright planet and surrounding the flags of the world with light. We read Masami Saionji’s message to overseas gatherings and concluded with the Divine Spark IN, with our infinite intention of love.

Neuquén, Argentina: report by Patricia Mennutto

On May 13, we held an SOPP event at a Reiki school in Neuquén. We were eight people, and we followed the same format as in previous years, with prayers from various faiths and a ceremony of flags. With lots of respect and love, we joined with the rest of the world in praying for peace and harmony. We felt full of joy, with great satisfaction in contributing from here on that day.

We have also started a program in the local secondary schools where we introduce the flag ceremony to pray for peace in each country and talk to students about living together in peace, in this house that is our planet Earth. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to participate in such a noble mission.

Tigre, Argentina: report by Andrea Solana

On the 20th of May, in synchrony with events around the world, we met in the Flag Corridor of the city of Tigre, outside Buenos Aires. We were about 25 people altogether.

We started this wonderful gathering by reading Masami Saionji’s message to all SOPP events outside Japan. After that, we walked along the path of 193 world flags, stopping at each one and saying with one voice and one heart, May peace prevail in (name of country). When we finished, holding hands around the Earth flag we declared: May peace prevail in all the other regions of the world, May peace prevail on Earth.

We formed the Divine Spark IN seven times together. Some of the attendees had never practiced the IN, but they were able to join in the movements naturally, as if they had been doing it all their lives. To close the ceremony we pronounced the word ‘peace’ in various languages.

It was a lovely, radiant, and powerful meeting. Our beings resonated with peace, happiness, harmony, unity and love.
